Spring is Coming - Rose Time

The flowers are blooming - now the daffodils are starting. One of my Tulip trees is about to bloom too. Then there are the roses to tend to. Spent most of Friday finishing up the weeding, the trenching, fertilizing, spreading bark and watering my front rose garden. It will be beautiful soon - had to get this started as the roses were beginning to bud out!
That is a good example of why I smply had to get to work on this today. Nature waits for no man. (Those weeds are on the neighbors side of the flower bed!

The Little Princess

Jillian fits into the family just fine - all the girls like to play dress up at that age!

Starry Starry Night - Can't get it out of my brain

It started last night when I went out to put out some trash and looked up at the sky and the stars were shining brilliantly and the song Starry Starry Night came into my head.
I love that ballad - probably from the 1960's - all the best music was then you know! Anyway I decided I wanted to hear it on my computer and came across the strangest thing. This pop ballad was written as a depiction of the life of Vincent Van Gogh. You can go to the following web page:
