When you get to the ship, it is hard to get a shot of the whole ship so we did stop to get our own picture with the ship's name.
Here is the skyline of the city of Vancouver. It is a huge, cosmopolitan city. All we got to see was a lot of the airport, the 45 minute ride across the less attractive parts of town and the docks. It is 10 times more cosmopolitan than San Francisco.
Thus the sun set on the first day of our cruise.
From Vancouver we spent the rest of this and all of the next day sailing - first on the Inside Passage and then on the open seas.
