That night we had a treat and went to see the Phantom of the Opera on 42nd Street at the Magestic Theater. It was easily within walking distance from our hotel so we didn't even need a taxi for this little trip.
Was it worth it? You bet. The acting was great, costumes were unbelieveable, and the special effects were super. Were in the second row a little left of center. If we stood up we could look right down into the orchestra pit. The chandelier? Well lets say Barbara was so close she wanted to duck.
Great play.
